I need a way to combine Twitter, Tumblr (that way I can make use of it too) and Flickr together. Maybe Qik/12seconds/Youtube too, though that would be the rare occasion.

Sucks that Qik doesn’t allow streaming from the iPhone. Don’t know why either though.

I know some of you think it’s stupid, and I’ve received at least 1 hate mail in regards to it.
The reason I post the lyrics, is usually because the song somewhat accurately represents what I am feeling. I occasionally posts lyrics of songs that I particularly like, but more often than not, it’s the song itself that represents what I am feeling at the moment I post it. The lyrics of the song deliver the message better than I ever could in words during those moments. So if it’s a happy song, it’ll most probably be coz I’m happy at that point in time. If it’s a sad, well, I was sad, etc etc.

Well, for those who don’t know, Twitter is “a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question.” Ok, I honestly don’t know anything about the last part about answers to questions, but in short, Twitter is a means of updating your status (i.e. what you’re up to) or even mini-blogging on the go.
It’s a interesting concept. If you have a mobile phone (who doesn’t?), you can send a text message to Twitter and it’ll update your status on your Twitter website (my Twitter page is here). This is especially handy if you want to blog, or inform people of what’s going on in your life on a moment to moment basis. And you can even enable it to send status messages from your friends to your mobile phone! (You can turn it on or off based on the individuals you are “following”). You can even update your status via IM (I use Gtalk) or by visiting their site.
Now, a lot of you will be asking: Why the hell would anyone need/want to use this? My answer is: Why not? If you blog on a personal blog, this just adds to it. If you don’t however, then, well, there’s no reason to.
So, anyway, the point of this post is this: If you visit this site to see what I’m blogging about, throw a glance on the Twitter panel on the right. Chances are I would have updated it with what I’m doing right now, if I’m doing anything interesting that is.
I’m honestly actually half asleep right now. I went to the Hospital on Friday morning, and came back on Saturday night, voluntarily, well, sorta. I spent Friday night sleeping on the examination couch in the Anaesthetic Examination Rooms. And let me tell you, those rooms, as well as the OT, is COLD at night. Especially when all you’re wearing is scrubs. I did Twitter a few times over those 37 hours, but not much, as I was mostly busy with patients.

I didn’t have anything planned for today. I went to the Gurdwara this morning, and had a horrible experience with the public transport system. But thats a story for another day.
This evening, I had planned to go to the Indian restaurant near the Windsor station for dinner, since I didn’t have anything else planned. So I told Elena that I was going out for dinner, and then she told me that they had planned to go out for dinner with me, which I didn’t know. So I decided, ok, I’d go with them, coz eating with friends is infinitely better than eating by myself.
At around 6.30pm, Daniel suddenly goes out to withdraw cash… supposedly. And minutes later, Elena and Richard went out to return a book to the City Library. I started to get suspicious… but didn’t want to say anything in case I was wrong. However, since we had agreed to go out for dinner at 7pm, I decided to have a shower and wait.
After my shower, I was sitting in the hall, when I heard the unmistakable voice of Linda and Zhao Kang as they were making their way down the path to the apartment. I knew for sure then that they were having a party for me.  A number of people were there, from Zhao Kang’s housemates, to Linda and Adrian, to TJ and his housemates, and Ying Wei, and Sarah, and of course, my own housemates were there. It was honestly unexpected since they did the same thing last year, and I didn’t think they’d do the same thing this year. It was awesome though. :D They bought pizza from Eagle Boys Pizza, including my fave, Aussie Bacon & Egg, plus a chocolate cake (which is one of my favourites). So we all did what we enjoy doing and do best: sat and ate and talked our hearts out.
All  in all, it was a excellent evening, and I really appreciate the presence of everyone who came. Friends like these are hard to come by, and I really appreciate it. :)

And I was extremely pleased when I found out The Undertaker had defeated Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemanie XXIV!! His 6th reign among his many other championships. More info is available at the WWE website here. As a showman, The Undertaker never fails to impress. His ring entrances are always the best. Remember the Druids at the Wrestlemania match before he fought Kane? His reappearance on Raw after being “burnt” at Royal Rumble ’98 (that still gives me the chills when I think of it). His matches against Kane, Mankind, and Shawn Michaels, among others, are nothing short of legenday. Hell In A Cell, or Casket Match anyone?

I’m firstly, reading too slowly, and secondly, my head feels numb. I think I’ll try to get to the management of labour before calling it quits. I’m not sure what we’re having for dinner, or if we’re even going to have it at home today. Doesn’t matter to me really, though I think we’ll be eating at home (ie cooking) today, since the rest ate out for lunch. I wonder what we’ll have……
I had Nando’s on Friday, and a pizza from Eagle Boys last night, because they weren’t cooking those 2 nights at home, and also because, on Friday, I wanted to celebrate a bit for an upcoming event. I also bought a DVD of the movie King Kong (the Peter Jackson version) since it was going for just 9.90AUD at EzyDVD and I’ve never seen it before. I’ve watched the first part of it already, and may watch the rest tonight or something. I’ll see how it goes.
